Learn by Doing at Prospect College!
Here at Prospect College, we believe the best way to learn a new skill is by trying it out firsthand. On our Campus located by Dupont Circle in Washington, DC, we have two computer labs for our students to practice what they are learning in the classroom. In addition, we give all of our first-time students who meet requirements a brand new laptop for them to keep. Giving our students a laptop of their own helps our students complete their assignments and get more practice with what they are learning at home.
The Computer Specialist program at Prospect College is an 8-month career training program. Our students take a new class every month to complete eight courses by the time they graduate. Courses include professional development, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, computerized accounting, web design, and more. Courses are held in a hybrid format with some lectures held online and on-campus lab days.
