Our graduates in the computer specialist program have a variety of career goals. This program gives you the skills to succeed in many different fields. Some of the most popular careers our computer specialist students go into are office administration, hospitality, housing and apartments, and entrepreneurship. We also offer career services to all of our students. Some of our students even graduate with a job offer!

According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average hourly wage for office and administrative support workers is about $25 per hour in the DC Metropolitan area. This makes the DMV one of the highest-paid regions for Computer Specialists.

What does the Prospect College Program look like?

The computer specialist program at Prospect College is an 8-month career training program. Our students take a new class every month to complete a total of 8 courses by the time they graduate. Courses include professional development, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, computerized accounting, web design, and more. After completing their first course, our students receive a new laptop to assist in their studies and all books are included in the cost of tuition. Our campus is metro accessible at the Dupont Metro stop in Washington, DC.
